Due to a continous demand LXI have constructed a KA1 Teacher Training Program for EU teachers, who wish to improve their English and teaching skills. This course will be a one week event in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland, running on Easter week 2018.
Details of the KA1 course - Irish Culinary Practices & English -
i) One week course Sunday to Sunday. (7th - 14th April '19)
ii) 3 x months of "Online English Academy" English preparation before arrival, delivered into the comfort of your own home online.
iii) e-Learning Culinary module on culinary terms and expressions - one month in advance of arrival.
e-learning Level II available for 9 months on line afterwards to ensure you maintain a strong level of English afterwards.
iv) Ireland:- Meet & greet at Dublin Airport on arrival and private coach to Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
v) English classes on the first two mornings in the School of Food - related to culinary expressions and menus.
vi) Cultural night in Thomastown - Bodhran Lessons (Traditional Irish Instrument).
vii) Culinary Lessons for 3 mornings in the School of Food, Thomastown. (professional kitchen, ingredients & equipment provided)
viii) Cultural Tour to Hookhead Lighthouse, Wexford and 2x Tours of "Local Cottage Industry" food manufacturers. This will be on the final Saturday.
ix) Airport transfer back to Dublin airport or Dublin city - Sunday morning.

This course is 60% booked out at this point. Individual bookings will cost € 900 pp. Erasmus + funding can be used.
